Weihnachtsmarkt in den Späth'schen Baumschulen

At Späth'sche Baumschulen, Germany's oldest tree nursery, guests can expect a Christmas market with Santa Claus, angels, and a forest of fir trees.
A Christmas market in a historic setting takes place on December 1st/2nd, 8th/9th, and 15th/16th at Späth’sche Baumschulen. More than 100 festively decorated stalls present natural products, jewelry design, and handicrafts. Christmas tree decorations, wooden toys, rocking horses, sleds, and original Erzgebirge art offer plenty of inspiration for beautiful Christmas gifts. In addition, there are delicious food and drinks and a colorful program with storytelling magic, music, and a fire show. In the middle of the Christmas market is a fir forest with Christmas trees for sale.
Even the little visitors are not forgotten: storyteller Ellen Luckas invites to storytelling magic and the Monbijou-Theater is a guest with its fairy tale hut. A ride on a historic children’s carousel offers special enjoyment.
Throughout the Advent season, the historic tree nursery grounds are festively decorated and entice with Christmas scents and delicacies, cozy fireplaces and bonfires for warming up, hot chocolate and mulled wine for inner warmth, and delicious cookies from the Christmas bakery. Top10 editorial tip: Pick out a Christmas tree right away, because a real fir forest of Nordmann firs, pines, and Norway spruces is set up at the Christmas market, from which families can choose their Christmas tree.
