Cabaret

Die Wühlmäuse is a long-established and very well-known Berlin cabaret theater with a permanent location at Theodor-Heuss-Platz in Berlin-Westend.

Rebellious, spiky, and non-conformist, the Stachelschweine (Porcupines) were founded in 1949 as Berlin's first post-war political cabaret, and to this day they offer biting social satire.

Many Berliners know the BKA Theater from its fast-paced New Year's Eve shows centered around the stage character Edith Schröder. But the BKA tickles funny bones all year round.

On the former site of the UFA film copying plant, the international Cultural Center of ufaFabrik in Tempelhof brings various styles to the stage: theater, music, variety dance, and cabaret!

The Mehringhof Theater is part of the alternative cultural center Mehringhof in Kreuzberg and has been a venue for first-class, laugh-inducing cabaret since 1985. The year-end program, featuring a cabaret review of the year, is legendary.

At the Scheinbar, you get to know the cabaret artists of tomorrow. Many established artists like Kurt Krömer, Eckhart von Hirschhausen, or Meret Becker have tried out their acts here.

The small Zebrano – Theater in Berlin-Friedrichshain is a musically and literarily oriented stage, presenting cabaret, various forms of performing arts, and chanson.

The Berliner Schnauze Dialect Theater performs in the former cabaret theater at Frankfurter Tor in Berlin-Friedrichshain.

The small O-Ton Art Theater is a classic Berlin backyard stage with a program mix of chanson, song evenings, concerts, cabaret, and comedy.
