The International Cultural Center of ufaFabrik is located on the former site of the UFA film copying plant. The Cultural Center ensures diverse cultural exchange and cultural education. The program is enormously diverse, catering to a wide range of genres such as theater, music, dance, variety, world music, cabaret, and children’s programs.

The ufaFabrik Cultural Center has three stages of different sizes with 90, 180, and 260 seats respectively. In summer, the covered summer stage with 500 seats is particularly popular. The program includes, for example, concerts, improv and clown theater, sing-along evenings, a beatbox musical, and classic cabaret evenings with political satire.

ufaFabrik celebrates its 40th birthday in June 2019! ufaFabrik has actually existed since 1979. It began as an alternative art and living project and today houses a wealth of cultural and social institutions on 18,566 square meters. Social commitment and sustainability are still highly valued. Festivals take place here, leisure activities and education for children, teenagers, and adults are organized, and various courses and workshops, for example for school classes, are held. On the premises there is a children’s farm, a free school, and a children’s circus. A bakery and a guesthouse are also available for visitors. Above all, ufaFabrik provides diverse, intelligent, and sustainable entertainment in the best sense!
