Booked solo, you automatically sit in a group of like-minded people. The atmosphere is pleasant, and participants come with very different cooking skill levels, which makes it easy to strike up a conversation. Please note: water and wine are included in the course price, and of course, not only is food cooked, but it’s also eaten.
Over 100 courses from 40 different cooking instructors from more than 20 nations take place quarterly. The offerings range from basic techniques to international cuisines, as well as baking classes, workshops, and wine seminars. There’s something for every taste. Many courses book up quickly, so it’s worth booking early.
Goldhahn und Sampson: More Than Just a Cooking School
In addition to the cooking school, Goldhahn und Sampson also offers groceries, wine, and cookbooks at its locations in Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg, and Prenzlauer Berg. The courses are taught by experts from their respective culinary cultures, who show how the dishes of their homeland are truly created. So you can browse before the course. Courses typically last up to five hours, with two to three hours actually spent at the stove. The rest of the evening is dedicated to eating, drinking, and talking.
