Pottery as a weekend adventure for yourself: Ceramic Kingdom in Neukölln's Agora Rollberg is Berlin's creative ceramics workshop for everyone who wants to think with their hands. Small course groups, a real community, and the relaxed vibe of an artist's workshop make the difference.

Pottery in Berlin: Hands in clay, mind free

Ceramic Kingdom in Neukölln is a collective ceramic studio located in the basement of Agora Rollberg, directly opposite the Kindl Brewery. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the audience is diverse. Since March 2017, people from art and design have been exchanging techniques, processes, and ideas here. So, if you arrive solo, you rarely sit alone at a table for long.

The offer is explicitly aimed at all levels. You learn the basics of pottery on the wheel or improve existing skills. The pottery courses are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students. If you prefer to work without a fixed course, you can also use the open Studio Time. This offers a concentrated atmosphere for independent work with clay, available as a drop-in or in a monthly package.

Ceramic Kingdom: Creative course with a true community factor

What distinguishes Ceramic Kingdom from other pottery studios in Berlin is its pronounced community character. Course groups remain small, ensuring enough time for each participant. Between the pottery wheel and drying rack, conversations almost automatically arise.

The course offering goes far beyond classic wheel throwing. You also learn hand-building techniques, proper glazing, as well as mold making, slip casting, 3D printing, or glaze chemistry. In addition, all group courses are taught in English and German, which keeps the studio open to newcomers and international guests. In the end, you take home something you made yourself.
