Dufte Berlin

At the newly opened Kant-Garagenpalast on Kantstraße in Charlottenburg, Dufte Berlin shows the World Cup games on a 4 x 2.5 meter LED wall in its 300 square meter beer garden. Four kitchens, a BBQ stand, and eight different beers on tap cater to your physical well-being.
Public Viewing at Dufte Berlin
Dufte Berlin is located in the Kant-Garagenpalast on Charlottenburg’s Kantstraße, a building that served as a multi-story garage for almost 90 years. Today, no one parks here anymore: on over 1,000 square meters, a culinary cultural house has been created on the ground floor, which will become one of the city’s most relaxed public viewing locations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. On approximately 1,000 square meters of indoor space and an additional 300 square meters of terrace, there are four independent kitchens, two bars, a café, a gallery, a beer garden, and a multifunctional event space.
At Dufte Berlin, all World Cup games will be broadcast during regular opening hours on a 4 x 2.5 meter LED screen in the beer garden. The four creative kitchens will serve specially created football menus. Eight different beers are available at the bar. Participation in the in-house betting game is also worthwhile: whoever wins Dufte’s World Cup betting game secures an entire barrel of “Heidi”, the exclusive Franconian lager of the house.
Historic Preservation as a Backdrop
It’s no coincidence that Dufte was established here. The decision for Charlottenburg was deliberate: for decades, West Berlin was the city’s cultural center, shaped by theaters, publishers, galleries, and salons around Kantstraße, Savignyplatz, and Kurfürstendamm. The Kant-Garagenpalast itself was built between 1929 and 1930 in the New Objectivity style as Berlin’s first multi-story garage and has been a protected monument since 1991. So, if you’re looking for a Public Viewing location for the 2026 World Cup that combines history and enjoyment, you’ll find both under one roof here. The location is also practical: KaDeWe and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church are reachable within minutes, Savignyplatz is just around the corner, and public transport is right outside the door.
