Werderaner Tannenhof: Excursion Destination with Program from April to December
Those who want to get out of the city with children will find an excursion destination at Werderaner Tannenhof in Brandenburg that offers much more than just tree sales. From April to December, there’s a lot going on at the site. In the middle of the forest, there are barbecue and campervan pitches, football and mini-golf, a bowling alley, and a petting zoo with donkeys, goats, and sheep that can be petted and fed. Particularly popular with children: hikes accompanied by real alpacas, friendly animals from South America whose gentle nature quickly wins children over.
The Tannenhof also has a lot to offer in terms of sports. The fir tree mini-golf course is fun for the whole family: on 18 holes, children and adults can prove their skill, directly among the fir trees. In addition, footgolf, a trending sport, awaits on an 18-hole course for all who like to compete. For the youngest, right next to the entrance, there is a giant hay bale and a bouncy castle to romp around on.
Events, Farm Shop, and Gastronomy: Year-round Program
The Werderaner Tannenhof surprises with a packed event calendar. Throughout the year, there are craft workshops for children, flea markets, live concerts, and barbecue parties. In addition, there’s an Easter festival, a Schlager party, an Oktoberfest, and in winter, an ice rink that is open on weekends. Visitors in winter can also experience Christmas tree self-sawing and the Christmas market with its farm and Christmas shop.
After all the activity, the gastronomy provides the necessary break. The farm café and beer garden also offer farm-specific specialties such as fir tree lemonade and fir tree cake. The farm shop also stocks Christmas and Easter decorations, as well as homemade spirits made from fir and fruit. The Tannenhof is located on Lehniner Chaussee in Werder (Havel), making it easily accessible from the western Berlin Ring.
