In the blossom city of Werder in Havelland, the Werderaner Tannenhof awaits with a huge fir tree plantation, alpacas, and plenty of activities for the whole family. It is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Brandenburg, attracting visitors all year round with seasonal activities.

Nature Experience, Animals, and Adventure at Werderaner Tannenhof

The first Nordmann firs were planted as early as 1991, eventually growing into a plantation covering over 60 hectares. Since 2021, the family business has also opened its plantation during the summer and autumn months, making the Tannenhof one of the most popular family excursion destinations in Brandenburg today. For over 30 years, it has been a beloved destination for families.

What makes the Tannenhof so special: There’s truly a lot for children to discover here. On the farm, alpacas and goats live amidst beautiful nature; they love cuddles and can be hand-fed. The highlight that we found particularly wonderful: You can even take a walk across the fir plantation with the alpacas. The alpaca tour lasts approximately 60 minutes with a guide and two to three animals.

Those who prefer to be active will also get their money’s worth. The fir mini-golf course is fun for the whole family. On 18 holes, children and adults can put their skills to the test. Furthermore, football golf on an 18-hole course and a bowling alley await sports enthusiasts. Many events take place throughout the year, including craft workshops for children, flea markets, live concerts, and barbecue parties. In winter, the Tannenhof becomes a full experience: In December, you can saw your own Christmas tree and then enjoy the Christmas market and the farm and Christmas shop with your family.

Prices, Location, and Directions

Admission to the grounds is free. Individual activities cost extra: Mini-golf on 18 holes, including game ball and club, costs 2 Euros for children and 4 Euros for adults. An alpaca walk for 1 to 3 people costs 60 Euros.

The Werderaner Tannenhof is located in Werder (Havel) in Brandenburg. The car journey from Berlin takes approximately 50 minutes, covering a distance of about 48 km. For those who wish to travel without a car: The Tannenhof can be reached by RE1 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof and then by bus 580 to Plessower Eck; from there, it’s just a 400-meter walk.
