Karls Erlebnis-Dorf und Erdbeerhof

Red strawberries, wild roller coaster, and tractor ride in the heart of Brandenburg: Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal near Wustermark is one of the most popular excursion destinations for families in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, turning a simple farm visit into an entire day of adventure.
Strawberry scent, roller coaster, and over 60 attractions for families
The adventure village in Elstal has existed since 2014 and has since developed into one of Brandenburg’s most visited excursion destinations. As early as 2017, more than a million visitors were counted. Here, a farm outing turns into a real day of adventure.
More than 60 attractions provide adventure, thrills, and beaming children’s eyes. The offerings are thoughtfully designed for all age groups. Children can slide down toboggan runs, ride tractors, jump on the giant bouncy castle or in the straw, ride ponies, and romp on numerous playgrounds. Additionally, the indoor area features a large playland with a ball pit, climbing frames, and a small go-kart track.
The highlight for braver children and parents is the K2 roller coaster. It is the only roller coaster in Germany whose cars are entirely made of real wood, reaching up to 60 kilometers per hour over approximately 500 meters. Those who prefer to watch rather than ride can discover how sweets, jams, or potato chips are made in the manufactories. Seasonal highlights are also added: In ‘Spooky October,’ the village transforms into a frightful world of adventure; in winter, the cozy atmosphere invites visitors to chat and drink strawberry mulled wine.
Admission, Prices, and Directions
Admission to Karls Erlebnis-Dorf is free. A small fee applies for some attractions. Those who wish to use everything unlimitedly can purchase a day ticket or an annual pass. The day ticket for Elstal costs 12 Euros and allows unlimited use of all paid attractions. Frequent visitors opt for the annual pass at 33 Euros, valid for a whole year at all adventure villages.
Karls Erdbeerhof is located directly on the B5 just behind Spandau and can be reached from Berlin in about 30 minutes. From Berlin Zoologischer Garten, the so-called Strawberry Shuttle (bus line A05) also goes directly to the adventure village.
