Karls Adventure Village and Strawberry Farm

Karl's Adventure Village, not far behind Spandau, is a great family trip to Brandenburg. Especially in summer, the strawberry-related products from freshly-harvested fruits are an added bonus to the children's highlights like petting zoo and adventure playground. But also winter is a good time to go with an indoor playground and seasonal products.

An adventure playground with splash pool, a petting zoo, a maze, mini gocarts or the great potato sack slide – one trip to Karl’s is hardly enough to make use of all there is to enjoy. However the weather may be, on the farm there are plenty of opportunities for climbing, playing and exploring. The free indoor playground of 300 square meters with ball pool, tubular labyrinth and Robi’s fast-paced giant slide is a great fun for kids.

At Karls, the strawberry is the main attraction. In the summer, the whole region smells of strawberries that are freshly plucked from the field. In addition, there are the many tasty strawberry products sold at the farm market, during the main season from May to September. Visitors can watch at the manufacturies how strawberry jam is made and strawberry sweets are cooked. There is fruity strawberry ice cream and jummy strawberry cake to be enjoyed.

When you a really hungry, you will be tempted by freshly made pancakes, baked in large iron pans, or burgers from the Mecklenburg beef. The farm kitchen serves hearty lunch and there is also a bratwurst stand.

Fall and winter come up with a pumpkin exhibition, the scary October or a nice winter world with an exhibition of ice sculptures, a pine tree forest and duck eating.

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal near Berlin was opened in May 2014 as a fifth adventure village run by Karls. Since then farm and adventure world have welcomed up to 1 million visitors every year.
