Holland Park: Where Kids Just Don’t Want to Go Home

Holland Park in Schwanebeck is not a classic amusement park with an admission fee, but rather a versatile excursion destination that has continuously developed since its opening in 2022. This alone makes it special: admission is generally free – the outdoor area with its playgrounds, the garden center, and the market hall can be explored without a ticket. Tickets are only required for the paid attractions.

Those who delve deeper into the grounds will find an astonishing amount. Highlights include two large indoor play halls, one of which has a separate climbing hall with 45 climbing walls, as well as Germany’s third-highest slide tower. Anyone who climbs the impressive 21-meter-high tower not only gets a great view but can also slide down on six different paths. Outdoors, there is also a children’s go-kart track, a 14-meter-high chain swing ride, and a slackline course.

The Jungle Hall is also particularly worth seeing: there, you can not only admire exotic plants but also visit meerkats, marvel at various turtle species, and watch Lori parrots in action. If you prefer adventure, try one of the escape rooms or the laser game.

Mini-Golf, Roller Coaster, and Year-Round Family Fun

A true unique selling point of Holland Park is its mini-golf course. With a total length of 463 meters and 27 lovingly Dutch-themed holes, it is Germany’s longest mini-golf course. Whether windmills, tulip fields, or canals – each hole tells its own Dutch story.

Furthermore, a visit is worthwhile at any time of year. From November to February, Holland Park transforms into a winter wonderland: in a 3,000 square meter tent, a covered ice rink invites you to go ice skating. And for those seeking even more thrills: the first roller coaster at Holland Park, a modern Family Launch Coaster, opened in 2026 and promises thrilling yet family-friendly riding fun.

Families with children particularly appreciate the many free play options outdoors, the wide range of indoor activities for bad weather, and the option to pay only for individual attractions. The park is open 365 days a year from 9 AM to 7 PM – and is located in the municipality of Panketal, only about 15 kilometers from Alexanderplatz.
