In the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz an indoor world of Lego bricks spreads over several levels, from Ninjago City and the dino explorer to the Miniland where Berlin stands in miniature. A birthday party brings a birthday room of its own for two hours, a private building workshop with a model to take home and pizza for every guest.

The Legoland Discovery Centre Berlin sits at Potsdamer Strasse 4, inside the Sony Center and therefore at one of the best connected addresses in the city: the U2, the S1, S2 and S25 and several regional trains all run to Potsdamer Platz, and from there it is about five minutes on foot. The bus lines M48, M85, M200 and M347 stop at Varian-Fry-Strasse, and anyone arriving by car comes in via Ben-Gurion-Strasse or Bellevuestrasse. Cinemas, arcades and restaurants lie all around, the Tiergarten begins to the north and the Kulturforum lies to the west. The house opened in 2007 and was the first Discovery Centre of its kind anywhere, the start of a whole series. Since the beginning of 2026 these houses belong to the Lego Group itself again, after years under a leisure park operator. For a party with school children the location is convenient: the group arrives from every direction without changing, and inside everything happens on a manageable floor area.

Ninjago City, Miniland and a building workshop of your own

Inside, the areas follow one after another: Ninjago City for climbing and fighting the snake army, the dino explorer, a factory that shows how a brick is made, a four-D cinema with wind and water, the dragon ride as a small roller coaster through a knights castle, Merlins apprentice, a race track for self-built cars and a Duplo farm for the smallest guests. The Miniland shows Berlin built from Lego bricks, from the Brandenburg Gate to the main station. A birthday at the Legoland Discovery Centre costs 45 euros per child, and at least five paying children have to come together. The birthday child gets in free, one adult companion is included, and each further adult costs 21 euros. The package covers a birthday room of its own with personal supervision for two hours, a private building workshop with a model to take home, a pizza and a soft drink for every guest, and a crown and badge for the birthday child. Admission is valid for the whole day. Cake may be brought along, further food, drinks, candles and decorations may not. Booking is online only.
