The ample rooftop terrace of Hotel de Rome is also open to guests not staying at the hotel. It is without a doubt an insider's tip for a quick snack or a drink with a view of the historical Berlin-Mitte near Gendarmenmarkt.
Admitted, the snacks and Deluxe burger served on the rooftop terrace of Hotel de Rome are on the upper limit of the price list. You will be fully compensated however with a unique view of Staatsoper Unter den Linden, the Berlin Cathedral and the TV Tower.
The card features light dishes like Caesar’s Salad, Ceviche or a Club Sandwich. Add to that a selection of burgers (prices start at 20,00 Euro), with fries made of sweet potatoes. The Roof Top Burger is made with beef, avocado, shrimp, pineapple and jalapeno cream. The Veggie Burger comes along with grilled Portobello Mushroom, celery, cilantro, mint and mango ketchup.
Swinging by in the afternoon will result in a slightly more inexpensive tab, ordering a slice of New York Cheesecake, a cup of coffee or a glass of self-brewed ginger lemonade. In the evening, the terrace invites you to sip a cocktail or a glass of champagne.
