Rübezahl am Müggelsee

Beer garden on the Müggelsee in Berlin-Köpenick

Rübezahl lies in the Treptow-Köpenick district on the southern shore of the Great Müggelsee, right next to the nature reserve. Part of the beer garden sits under large old trees with an open view of Berlin’s largest lake. On warm days it is a firm day-out destination for many Berliners.

It serves hearty food, cake and freshly tapped beer, indoors in the bistro and outside with a lake view. Woods and water all around offer space for walking, swimming and boating, and the venue is easy to reach by S-Bahn and bus.

Rübezahl looks back on a long tradition as a Müggelsee day-trip venue and is still a popular meeting point for families, cyclists and hikers spending a day by the water.
