Connectivity is as good as it gets in Kreuzberg, as Kottbusser Tor with U1, U3, and U8 is just a few minutes away, and Moritzplatz on the U8 is also within walking distance. Driving by car is not worthwhile, as parking management applies throughout the entire area and the streets are constantly occupied. Reservations are made by phone, and that’s not a bad idea at this address, as a loyal customer base has formed here over the years. There is no lunch offer; the operation focuses entirely on the evening business.

Pasta in Three Sections and an Extensive Wine List

The Gorgonzola Club’s pasta menu is divided into three sections, and this describes the kitchen’s specialization very well: there are spaghetti, gnocchi, and fresh ravioli with ricotta and spinach. These ravioli are the only pasta dish the house explicitly designates as fresh, and they are served, among other things, with a Gorgonzola cream that gives the restaurant its name. Alongside these are classics like Aglio e olio and Amatriciana, plus spaghetti with a pesto made in-house. Prices for pasta start at 11 Euros and remain under fifteen Euros even for higher-priced options, which is exceptionally affordable for Kreuzberg standards. Significantly more effort has gone into the wine list, which starts with open wines from 6.50 Euros and extends to bottles from Piedmont and Tuscany. Those who like Italian wine will find more selection here than in many restaurants in this price category. In addition, a handwritten evening menu changes regularly, featuring dishes outside the fixed menu, where prices are slightly higher.
