The best way to get there is by S-Bahn, as Oranienburger Straße station is around three hundred and fifty meters away and brings S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S25, and S26, as well as tram lines M1, M5, and M6, within walking distance. Oranienburger Tor and Rosenthaler Platz subway stations are each about half a kilometer away. Reservations are exclusively by phone; the establishment does not use a booking system. Payment, however, is straightforward, as cash, EC cards, and major credit cards are accepted.

The special thing about La Galleria Italiana lies in its pasta, as the establishment explicitly declares homemade noodles a specialty. The focus is on tortelloni, which are filled in their own kitchen, and the truffle variant is particularly popular. The fact that stuffed pasta is made in-house is rarer in Berlin than many might think, because the effort is high and most kitchens buy ready-made products. The establishment deliberately keeps prices modest and claims to deliver quality at a low price, so you should budget between ten and twenty euros on average for a pasta dish. If you don’t want to eat in the restaurant, you can also order dishes for takeaway.
