The restaurant Charlotte & Fritz, which just opened in May, belongs to the 5-star superior Hotel Regent Berlin which is located directly at the famous Gendarmenmarkt . The restaurant welcomes guests to its fine New Year's Eve dinner between 6.30 p.m. and 9 p.m. with a glass of champagne and an aperitif. The menu begins with an Amuse Bouche with aspic from eel with caviar and Crème Fraiche, followed by truffled oxtrail with bassoonini. The fish course is grilled sea bass "Escabeche", the main course is roasted fillet of beef with white soubise. The menu is rounded off with a sweet dessert, white almond nougat with dried grapefruits and chervil mustard.
The New Year's Eve dinner can be served with exquisite wine on request. The menu will also be accompanied by live music. Thanks to its central location in Berlin's historic centre, guests of Charlotte & Fritz can experience the great fireworks at midnight directly opposite on the Gendarmenmarkt, a square which is flanked by the famous Konzerthaus (concert hall) and the German and French church.
Chef de Cuisine Jörg Lawerenz developed the culinary concept for the restaurant. The menu is intended to mix the specialities of the local, fresh cuisine with influences from other countries.
