Route 66 Diner

The Route 66 Diner in Wilmersdorf is Berlin's largest American Diner: over 600 seats on two floors, plus a terrace for more than 400 guests. The dry-aged beef for the patties is freshly minced every morning at six o'clock and grilled on a lava stone grill. Jukeboxes, old gas pumps, and red benches provide the backdrop.

Route 66 Diner: Two Floors of Fifties in Pariser Straße

The Route 66 Diner is located at Pariser Straße 44 in Wilmersdorf, a few steps from Olivaer Platz and Ludwigkirchplatz. The terrace in front of the building has over 400 seats, making it one of the largest offered by a restaurant in this area. Inside, over 600 seats are spread across two floors. The decor follows the model of American diners from the fifties: red benches, leather sofas, flashing jukeboxes, old gas pumps, and murals from the rock ‘n’ roll era, from Elvis Presley to Chuck Berry. Bundesliga, Champions League, NFL, NBA, and Baseball are shown on the screens.

Dry-Aged Patties from the Lava Stone Grill

Every morning at six o’clock, bone-aged dry-aged beef is minced in the kitchen and hand-formed into 200-gram patties, which are then grilled on the lava stone grill. The Cheese Burger costs 15 Euros, a rump steak of around 300 grams costs 36 Euros. All steaks are exclusively dry-aged and mature for up to 21 days. In addition to the classics, the menu features nine vegan burgers, Tex-Mex with nachos, enchiladas, and fajitas, pasta, and a wide selection of milkshakes. A dedicated breakfast menu and a more affordable lunch menu complete the offerings; group menus are available for larger parties by prior arrangement.
