Planet Wein is the wine shop at Gendarmenmarkt: Sommelière Anja Schröder has been running the shop on Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Straße since 2005 and has over 500 wines on display, focusing on Riesling, German Pinot Noir, and Champagne. On Fridays, wine is served openly until 11 PM, and on Thursdays, themed evenings feature seven to ten wines.

The Weinlobbyist in Berlin Schöneberg is a sophisticated bistro and hip wine bar in one, offering a large selection of wines and sparkling wines with a changing gourmet menu.

The Zenner Beer and Wine Garden in Alt-Treptow is one of Berlin's oldest and largest beer gardens, located directly on the Spree River in Treptower Park. Classic beer garden culture meets a contemporary drink and food menu here, with views of the Island of Youth.

Located at Fasanenplatz in Charlottenburg, the F37 Wine Bar & Art Gallery houses Berlin's oldest art gallery, reimagined as a wine and champagne bar. Changing exhibitions, curated wine tastings, and a historic building with modern elements make this venue a cultural landmark near Ku'damm.

In Friedenau, directly in the listed Goerz Courtyards on Rheinstraße, the Weinladen Schmidt dynasty and TV chefs Ralf Zacherl and Mario Kotaska have created a vinophile pleasure workshop that unites wine retail, wine bar, and restaurant under one roof. The concept is as simple as it is captivating: the wine rack is the wine list.

Weinladen Schmidt on Heinsestraße is the Hermsdorf branch of a Berlin wine merchant that has been family-owned since 1964. The assortment includes around 415 wines, with the Palatinate region being the most represented. Once a month, there's a neighborhood tasting starting from 44 Euros, and for wine gifts, chocolates and pralines from Erich Hamann and Sawade are available.

Wein und Glas Compagnie wine shop on Prinzregentenstraße in Wilmersdorf is one of Berlin's prime addresses for Bordeaux and Burgundy, offering over 350 Rieslings from 14 German wine regions. The shop hosts wine seminars starting from 40 Euros, and their own delivery team provides free delivery within Berlin for orders over 120 Euros.

The June Wine Bar in Charlottenburg combines a relaxed wine bar atmosphere with serious cuisine directly on Knesebeckstraße, not far from Savignyplatz. The wine list is impressive, the interior is perfect, and the service knows what it's doing – without being stiff.

Since 1994, Carsten and Stephan Holst have been bringing champagnes from small houses directly to Schöneberg. In their wine shop on Motzstraße near Nollendorfplatz, there are around 60 champagnes, for example from Gosset, Amyot or Fromentin-Leclapart; a bottle of Amyot Brut costs 35 Euros. For parties, wine is available on commission, unopened bottles can be returned.

Bruno Gibard, a Frenchman living in Berlin since 1982, has been running the wine shop Chez Bruno on Berliner Straße in Zehlendorf since 2006. The shelves feature wines from almost all regions of France, mostly from family wineries, along with Crémant, Champagne, raw milk cheese, and pâtés. Those who wish to try can order a tasting plate with a glass of wine.

Chez Maurice is located on Bötzowstraße in Prenzlauer Berg and has existed since 1997. Wine import is at its heart: around 200 bottles from Bordeaux and Burgundy are on the shelves, for drinking in or taking away. The menu features escargots, beef tartare, and cheese directly from France. Among French restaurants in Berlin, it's the address with its own wine cellar.

Chef Jan Kreuzinger opened Vin Aqua Vin in 2010 on Weserstraße in Neukölln, as both a wine shop and a wine bar. The shelves primarily feature German winemakers with a focus on Riesling, as well as wines from France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and their own Secco. It's open until 1 AM, so you can still grab a bottle late at night.

At Walter-Benjamin-Platz in Charlottenburg, Antonio Bragato has created a Berlin institution: Il Calice combines a wine bar, vinotheque, and upscale restaurant under one roof. Those who secure a spot here will find one of the city's most impressive Italian wine lists.

Vinos on Knesebeckstraße in Charlottenburg is one of six Berlin branches of the wine shop, which was founded in Kreuzberg in 1996 as Wein & Vinos. The range includes over 1,800 wines, cavas, and sherries, exclusively from Spain and Portugal. At the in-store after-work tasting, you can sample the entire program for 15 Euros.

The Copenhagen Wine Shop started in 1997 as "Nix wie Wein" and has been called the Copenhagen Wine Shop since moving to Kopenhagener Straße 72 in 2015. The wine shop in Prenzlauer Berg focuses heavily on natural wine, orange wine, and Pet Nat, but also carries champagne starting from 35 Euros. Those who want to delve deeper can book one of the wine seminars starting from 20 Euros.

Since 1989, the wine shop Suff on Oranienstraße in Kreuzberg has been selling wine, currently around 500 varieties, a third of which are from Germany. About 160 wines are organic, around 40 of them natural wines. Seminars for 10 to 12 people cost 39 to 49 Euros, and on the same evening, there is an 8 percent discount on the entire range.

The wine house dates back to 1779 and was a Royal Court Supplier from 1824. Today, it is located on Luisenstraße behind the Reichstag. Celebrations are held in the Weinbogen, an entire arch of the city railway accommodating 130 guests, in the wine shop among wine barrels, or in two cellar private rooms for eight people or more. Over 100 selected wines are available.

In Charlottenburg, in the historic brick wine cellar on Goethestraße, couples learn together what's truly in the glass. The Berlin Wine School combines wine seminars and gourmet evenings in a way that neither lectures nor bores.

In the basement of an old building on Mittelstraße, directly between Friedrichstraße and Humboldt University in Mitte, beats the heart of one of Berlin's most famous wine bars. Freundschaft combines Austrian tavern culture with a serious wine list and a counter where you stay until the lights go out.
