Vin Aqua Vin: Wine Shop and Wine Bar on Weserstraße
Jan Kreuzinger opened Vin Aqua Vin in 2010 on Weserstraße in Neukölln. He is a trained chef and established the store as a wine shop, wine bar, and wholesaler for bars and restaurants. He built the shelves in the salesroom himself.
The selection primarily features German winemakers with a focus on Riesling, as well as wines from France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. Conventional wines and natural wines stand side by side. There is their own white and rosé Secco, and many bottles cost under ten euros.
Wine Bar, Seminars, and Long Opening Hours
The shop includes a wine bar with tables, and when the weather is good, simple wooden tables are set up on the sidewalk. Wine seminars take place about twice a month, and in winter, there are pop-up dinners with guest chefs. It’s open until 1 AM, from the afternoon during the week, and from 14:00 on Saturdays.
