Kopenhagener Weinhandlung

The Copenhagen Wine Shop started in 1997 as "Nix wie Wein" and has been called the Copenhagen Wine Shop since moving to Kopenhagener Straße 72 in 2015. The wine shop in Prenzlauer Berg focuses heavily on natural wine, orange wine, and Pet Nat, but also carries champagne starting from 35 Euros. Those who want to delve deeper can book one of the wine seminars starting from 20 Euros.

Copenhagen Wine Shop: Natural Wine in Prenzlauer Berg

The Copenhagen Wine Shop started in 1997 as “Nix wie Wein” on the opposite side of the street. In early 2015, the shop moved to Kopenhagener Straße 72 and received its current name. It is run by Michael d’Aprile, who previously worked as a sommelier in Germany, Switzerland, France, and England. There is a sister shop, Grünberger Weinhandlung, in Friedrichshain.

A focus is on natural wine, orange wine, and Pet Nat; the shop is organic-certified. In addition, there are classic wines from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, alcohol-free alternatives, spirits, and delicacies. A Pinot Gris from Brühler Hof is available for 8.50 Euros, champagne starting from 35 Euros.

Wine Seminars at K.Eins

The seminars take place a few doors down at K.Eins on Kopenhagener Straße 1. The “With a Glass in Hand” evening costs 20 Euros, “All about wine” 38 Euros. If you can’t visit, you can order online; shipping costs 6.90 Euros. It is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00.
