Since 2009, the ice cream manufacturer Vanille & Marille has been producing its ice cream in a Kreuzberg backyard - handcrafted, without artificial additives, with over 100 self-developed flavors. What goes into the cone daily ranges from Sicilian pistachio to Caramel Beurre Salé. Nine stores across Berlin, a clear commitment to quality.

In Reuterstraße in Neukölln, pastry chef Marc Thiebaut creates French pâtisserie in small batches: Pavlovas, tarts, small cakes, macarons, and cannelés; the assortment changes with the seasons.

On Wühlischstraße in Friedrichshain, it's all about organic ice cream that truly tastes special. The organic ice cream parlor Caramello relies on Brandenburg farm milk, Fairtrade cocoa, and unforgettable flavors like "1001 Nacht". Here, artisanal skill meets sustainable principles.

In the Heckmann-Höfe on Oranienburger Straße, Katja Kolbe and Hjalmar Stecher cook candies in a copper kettle using old recipes. Through the glass show kitchen, one can watch how woodruff leaves and raspberry drops are made.

If you want to buy fruit gums, licorice, and Ahoj-Brause at factory prices and watch the production live, this is the place to be.

At Hohenzollerndamm 92 in Schmargendorf, the Otte family has been running their original establishment in the Viennese coffee house style since 1980. About a hundred cake creations are produced annually from their own manufactory, along with apple strudel and Kaiserschmarrn.

Hoppegarten in Steglitz is Berlin's coziest proof that a good breakfast needs no trends. For decades, this restaurant, cafe, and bar on Schloßstraße has attracted regulars from all over the neighborhood who know: everything here is just right.

Candies like 100 years ago are produced by the Kolbe & Stecher candy manufactory in a small backyard. Even outside, the sweet scent of the sweets greets you.

Especially during the colder months, the demand for sweets increases - the Berliner Kaffeerösterei sweetens gloomy Berlin weather with exquisite tastings. Whether it's an espresso machine course, milk foam cappuccino training, or coffee cupping with the master roaster: the aroma of roasted beans and the homemade cakes warm the senses in the cold.

The two well-known shops Kauf dich glücklich and Glücklich am Park in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg belong together and specialise in tasty waffles and crêpes, self-made ice cream, sorbet and coffee specialities.

A spoonful of honey is an effective home remedy for coughs. Kaiserhonig, featuring the licking bear, is produced in Berlin and also makes a nice souvenir.

At the corner of Großbeerenstraße and Yorckstraße, Kuchenkultur bakes small batches daily. In the display case, next to poppy seed cheesecake and streusel cake, you'll also find oriental orange cake, avocado cheesecake, and pistachio mousse tart.

Berlin-Charlottenburg's trendy waffle shop Waffle Brothers offers great waffles at fair prices.

Eisteufelchen is located in a railway arch on Flensburger Straße, directly at Bellevue S-Bahn station. The ice cream is made on-site, alongside classics, there are flavors like Baumkuchen or Basil, a scoop costs 2.10 Euros.
