Candies like 100 years ago are produced by the Kolbe & Stecher candy manufactory in a small backyard. Even outside, the sweet scent of the sweets greets you.
If you want to watch how ginger candies or woodruff leaves are formed from a mass of glucose and sugar, you can inquire about the daily schedule by phone at short notice.
From the copper kettle, the fragrant candy comes onto a steel plate for seasoning and cooling. The mass is folded. Then the time comes, the hot candy can be cut into smaller pieces. After about 45 minutes, these small delights are available for purchase – coated with sugar.
