The easternmost of the three barbecue areas on Tempelhofer Feld is located in Neukölln, near the Oderstraße entrance, approximately two kilometers from the area at Tempelhofer Damm. Your own grill with a minimum foot height of 25 centimeters is mandatory; gas grills are forbidden on the entire field. For barbecuing in the park, this is the shortest route from the Schillerkiez.
Behind the baroque Charlottenburg Palace lies one of Berlin's oldest garden complexes, laid out for Sophie Charlotte from 1695 and opened in 1699. Since the barbecue area in Preußenpark was closed in 2024, Rudolf-Mosse-Platz in Schmargendorf is the only public barbecue area in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Viktoriapark in Kreuzberg spans 12.8 hectares around the Kreuzberg hill, which, at 66 meters, is Berlin's highest inner-city elevation.
