Sun Yoga in Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg represents Hot Yoga at Berlin's highest level, and has done so since 2002. In Friedrichshain, where bars and clubs set the tone, Restaurant Schneeweiß strikes a different chord: alpine cuisine, white interior, and its own fireplace room with a separate bar, which becomes one of Berlin's warmest spots on cold evenings.

On the former Prinzessinnengarten site at Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg, a non-commercial, self-organized neighborhood and inclusion garden has been created. Those who garden here do so according to the principles of permaculture - collaboratively, democratically, and open to all.

Korean BBQ, fermented kimchi, and an atmosphere that reflects Kreuzberg at its most vibrant: Kimchi Princess on Skalitzer Straße has been one of Berlin's most renowned Asian restaurants for over 15 years, attracting guests from all over the world to its long wooden tables.

Located on Rudi-Dutschke-Straße, betahaus Kreuzberg is considered the birthplace of coworking in Germany. Since 2009, it has attracted founders, freelancers, and creative teams. Here, a well-established community infrastructure meets industrial charm, a rooftop terrace, and a public café right in the building.

The "Boxi" is the Sunday heart of Friedrichshain: On the historic Boxhagener Platz, the southern neighborhood transforms weekly into one of Berlin's most popular flea markets, where vintage, vinyl, and curiosities from decades meet a relaxed atmosphere that even convinces die-hard Mauerpark grumps.
