Kreuzberg's most famous creative and educational center for children and young people opens its doors free of charge for everyone. Across five floors, right next to Viktoriapark, children can craft, dance, build, and experiment – here, it's not the parents' wallet that counts, but the child's talent.

Five Floors Full of Opportunities for Children and Families in Berlin

The yellow Villa in Berlin-Kreuzberg is aimed at children and young people between 6 and 16 years old. Spread across five floors, young visitors can try out various creative workshops and experiential spaces. Whether working with wood, clay or stone, painting, acting, dancing, making music, fashion design, or relaxing in the snoezel room – the range of activities is exceptionally broad. Anyone looking for activities for children in Berlin is guaranteed to find something here. An additional advantage is its immediate proximity to Viktoriapark, which allows for play, movement, and excursions on the topic of urban nature.

The yellow Villa: Free Children’s Program with Real Ambition

The creative and educational center offers a variety of activities for children and young people – all consciously free of charge. This makes the yellow Villa one of the rare excursion tips for families in Berlin where budget plays no role. From Tuesday to Friday, between 14:00 and 18:00, there is an open program as well as numerous workshops. The goal is to creatively encourage children and young people regardless of their cultural, religious, or social background, to discover talents, and to strengthen their initiative. Around 450 children per week come here in the afternoons after school or during holidays. In addition, special events regularly take place: for example, the Villa opens its doors during the International Family Festival for a day full of stories and fantasy on the theme of children’s books, with hands-on activities, music, and live illustrations.
