ME AND ME - Berlin Prenzlauer Berg

On Stargarder Straße, an owner has been running a boutique for women's fashion, shoes, and accessories since 2011. The brands come from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, and Germany; the shoes are made in Europe from genuine leather. Sustainability is an explicit selection criterion; fast fashion is not included in the range.
Boutique on Stargarder Straße near Schönhauser Allee
Stargarder Straße runs from Schönhauser Allee towards Prenzlauer Allee and is one of the streets where the life of Prenzlauer Berg takes place at street level. Directly at the western end, at house number 3a, lies Me and Me. Hanna Gehring founded the boutique in 2011, and it has been at this address for about fifteen years now. A second branch opened in the historic Mitte district in 2021; the range differs between the two stores. The owner’s motto is simply that you are dressed from head to toe here, and the store is set up exactly that way. Advice is provided personally by the owner and her team, not by self-service. The address is accessible via Schönhauser Allee station with the U2 and Ringbahn, as well as tram lines M1 and 12. Those coming from Kastanienallee will be there in a few minutes.
Casual Chic, Shoes from European Production and Curated Labels
Me and Me’s profile is women’s fashion in casual chic, complemented by women’s shoes and accessories. Purchases are curated in showrooms, meaning it’s retail and not in-house production. For fashion, labels like Milano Italy, White Stuff, Yaya, Seasalt Cornwall, Zilch, and Nice Things are on the shelves; for shoes, Wonders, Apple of Eden, Yokono, and Hee from Spain, Andrea Conti from Germany, DYSF from Portugal, as well as Post Xchange and Miz Mooz from the Netherlands are included. According to the store, the shoes are manufactured in Europe and made from genuine leather, which is no longer a given in this price range. Sustainability is an explicit selection criterion: the owner states that she not only pays attention to fabrics and cuts but also ensures that cheaply produced fast fashion does not even enter the range. The boutique does not publish prices, and there is no online shop. For questions beforehand, the team can also be reached by text message, saving a trip across the city.
