Art Room in the German Parliament

The Dome of the German Reichstag and the Chamber may be the most famous hotspots of the German Parliament, a visit, however, is associated with long waiting times and pretty boring when visiting a second time. In contrast, experts rather visit the art room of the Bundestag.

Those who do not want to wait and want to get a new impression of the Parliament and the powerful within, should visit the art room at the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-House-of-Representatives. Contemporary art works dealing thematically with politics like Herlinde Koelbl’s portraits of famous politicians such as Angela Merkel and Joschka Fischer are displayed here.

More art is exhibited in the Artist House in Schadowstraße close to the Brandenburg Gate. Special tours and workshops for children are offered here.
