The BRLO Brwhouse in Gleisdreieckpark in Schöneberg/Kreuzberg is Berlin's most famous craft beer brewery with a beer garden, restaurant, and bar — right next to the subway. For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, BRLO will show the games on an outdoor screen, with its own draft beer.

BRLO Brwhouse at Gleisdreieck: Craft Beer from Berlin since 2014

BRLO originated as a spontaneous idea among student friends and has been brewing beer in Berlin since 2014. The name BRLO is the Old Slavic origin of the name Berlin, which, according to them, can only be pronounced correctly after a few beers. On the grounds of Urbane Mitte Berlin, between the East and West parks of Gleisdreieck Park, a mobile brewpub designed by GRAFT was erected in the summer of 2016, combining gastronomy, events, administration, and brewing art. The BRLO Brwhouse consists of 38 converted shipping containers from all over the world.

From the original two beer types, Helles and Pale Ale, a colorful variety of classics, novelties, and experiments has emerged: from Happy Pils to German IPA, Porter, and alcohol-free options, up to the original Berliner Weisse. At around 6 Euros for 0.5 liters, the beer price is quite fair. If you wish, you can also order a tasting board and try several varieties.

The special thing about the food offering is that vegetables play the main role instead of meat. Dishes can be put together individually in a modular system, from “Small” with three dishes for one person from 25 Euros up to “All at once” for six people. Additionally, there’s an outdoor bar with a modern beer variety, as well as classic street food from the grill or the kiosk, including veggie options. If you want to experience something more afterwards: The absolute highlight of the location is its position in the middle of Berlin, right in Gleisdreieck Park, with a view of the subway bridge and passing trains.

Public Viewing World Cup 2026: Watching Football at Gleisdreieck

The BRLO Brwhouse once again invites its guests to follow the games of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the big screen. The brewery already showed what it’s capable of during the 2024 European Championship. Back then, all games were broadcast on a large screen in the beer garden, and there were also talks, pub quizzes, and live podcasts.

Due to high demand, only a limited selection of tables directly in front of the screen could be reserved for the 2024 European Championship. Instead, additional smaller screens were set up on the premises, so that spontaneous visitors also found good spots. The public viewing takes place in all weather conditions, as there are covered areas. This is a real advantage for a World Cup in June and July.

Experience shows that BRLO Brwhouse was quickly at full capacity during major events like the European Championship. Therefore, if you want one of the coveted tables directly in front of the screen, you should reserve early enough. Selected tables with the best view of the screen can be reserved privately for up to 6 people, and the price includes a BRLO party keg with 5 liters of Helles and snacks. However, those who come spontaneously will also find a spot thanks to the spacious grounds. The atmosphere under the open sky, with freshly tapped craft beer in hand and the cheers of the crowd all around, makes BRLO Brwhouse one of the most atmospheric venues for public viewing in Berlin.
