Weihnachtshaus im Museum Knoblauchhaus

From November 10 to December 26, 2018, the Knoblauchhaus Museum in Berlin-Mitte transforms into a Christmas House from the Biedermeier era.
The Christmas House at the Knoblauchhaus Museum makes the eyes of the whole family light up, as the Knoblauchhaus on Poststraße in Berlin-Mitte transforms into a Christmas House from the Biedermeier era. Old toys and the illuminated tree in the historic living room show how the merchant family Knoblauch, who once lived here, celebrated Christmas.
The Christmas House has devised delightful family programs to match. Special highlights during the pre-Christmas season are the family Sundays on the first, second, and third Advent. Families can go on a journey of discovery together in the Christmas House. There will be crafting, punch, and pastries in a historical ambiance!
In mid-December, an additional highlight at the Christmas House is the family program ‘Rumpelstilzchen’ paper theater. Performances on self-designed miniature stages are part of Advent. The fairy tale of Rumpelstilzchen is staged on a historical paper theater stage.
Larger groups can also book guided tours through the Christmas House and view the nutcrackers, humming tops, and Christmas pyramid. Afterwards, there will be punch and pastries – a great tip for a Christmas or Advent celebration.
