The Bodemuseum sits at the northern tip of Museum Island, its domed silhouette one of the most recognisable on the Spree. Home to sculpture, Byzantine art and one of the world's great coin collections, the Bodemuseum rewards a slower, quieter visit than its busier neighbours. This tag collects Berlin locations around this corner of the island.
Inside, grand halls display medieval and Renaissance sculpture, while the numismatic collection runs to hundreds of thousands of coins and medals.
