Feuer und Eis im Museumsdorf Düppel

Shortly before Christmas, the open-air museum Museumsdorf Düppel opens its gates for the last time in 2018 for a family advent festival.
For a very special festival, Museumsdorf Duppel opens its gates once more on December 15th and 16th: Fire and Ice – Winter activities at the open-air museum. In the medieval adventure village Museumsdorf Düppel in Berlin-Zehlendorf, children can spend a lot of time outdoors in nature and explore medieval life in the museum village. Actually, the museum village is an open-air location in summer and closed in winter. However, for a pre-Christmas fire festival in Advent, it opens its doors one last time in 2018. On December 15th and 16th, the museum village invites visitors to a family program from 10:00 to 18:00.
The family festival offers winter activities with ice and fire. Fire-eaters and fire artists will showcase their skills. Fiery crafts like blacksmithing and glass bead making will make sparks fly, creating a unique atmosphere. Lively historical houses and hands-on activities for children invite exploration. With mulled wine and hot apple juice, everyone will enjoy themselves.
This Advent event marks the end of the season for the museum village. It will reopen at Easter 2019 with an Easter festival.
