Well-known fairy-tale figures and the Punch come to life at puppet theater Firlefanz in the Sophienstraße in Berlin-Mitte. The self-made puppets play fairy tales such as Cinderella, Frog King or the Emperor’s new clothes for children in the afternoons. For adults puppet theater Firlefanz presents marionette plays like the musical comedy Bastien & Bastienne or the Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The puppet play is one of the oldest dramatic forms of representation. The puppet theater has been reinterpreted by every epoch and has remained alive until the modern age. Thus, the puppet theater Firlefanz offers a nostalgic theater experience, which is equally exciting for children and their families.
Performances are given for families, school classes, companies and also on request for private occasions.
