At the Bötzow-Areal in Prenzlauer Berg, Osmans Töchter follows the meze tradition: all plates arrive at once and get shared across the table. For me, Turkish food means lots of small plates, a full table and nobody checking the time. For this list I focused on craft. Does the meat really come off a charcoal grill? Is the bread fresh from the oven? Do the ezme and lentil soup taste homemade? And does the portion match the price? The result is ten places across the city, from no-frills grill houses to restaurants made for a long evening with friends.
