Of Eden: Southeast Turkish Cuisine on the Spree Riverbank
Of Eden is located in the Dockyard on Stralauer Allee in Friedrichshain, directly on the Spree. Warm colors, natural materials, and an open kitchen characterize the dining area; in summer, guests can sit outside with a view of the water. The cuisine is based on recipes from Southern Turkey and the Orient, interpreted in a modern way. All dishes are prepared halal.
From Brunch to Lamb Chops
The day begins with a daily brunch, and in the evenings, meze and grilled dishes take center stage. On the menu, the dishes have unique names: The lentil soup is called “Lentils of the Orient”, the köfte “Whispers of Spice”, and the Mantı, small dumplings with yogurt, “Sultan’s Pillow”. If you’re hungry, order “Lamb No. Eden”, 300 grams of lamb chops. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. Reservations can be made online or by phone; it is recommended for groups of six or more.
