The Pan Africa Restaurant in Neukölln-Rixdorf brings the full range of flavors of the African continent to your plate. Here, a Nigerian chef cooks specialties from East, West, and North Africa, lovingly prepared with authentic ingredients like plantains, yams, and coconut milk. An African restaurant in Berlin that truly delivers on its promise.

Egusi, Fufu and Tomato-Date Salad: What’s on the table

If you’re looking for an authentic African restaurant in Berlin, Pan Africa is an excellent choice. The menu features around 37 dishes from all parts of the continent. Classics like Egusi, a Nigerian melon seed sauce with spinach and bitter greens, are served with Fufu. There’s also a North African tomato-date salad with fresh herbs, which is completely vegan and free of additives. Halal samosas are also on the menu. The offerings cover vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The drinks also reflect the origin: in addition to hibiscus tea, there are African wines, beers, and cocktails. The buffet changes regularly and invites you to sample African cuisine. Reservations are not necessary; just drop by.

In Berlin since 2011, now firmly rooted in Neukölln

Pan Africa Restaurant has existed since 2011, serving Berliners specialties from all over Africa. At the end of 2015, the restaurant moved from Wilmersdorf to Neukölln, where it has firmly established itself in Rixdorf. The neighborhood around Kirchhofstraße is already a good destination for food lovers. Those exploring the area will also discover Richardplatz, the historical heart of Rixdorf, and other eateries along Karl-Marx-Straße that define the district gastronomically. Pan Africa opens Thursdays to Sundays from 5 PM. Under the leadership of Frank Anyangbe, it is now a go-to address for anyone who wants to experience African food of true quality in Berlin.
