Pasta Opera: Opera and Pasta on Oranienburger Straße

World of Dinner takes you into the world of Rococo with the classic Pasta Opera. The concept is as simple as it is effective: a pianist accompanies the guests, who dance and sing in Rococo costumes and wigs between the dining tables. They never stay far from the audience. The guests interact charmingly and coquettishly with the audience, offering entertainment with love, passion, intrigue, and death. In short: you’re sitting at dinner and suddenly you’re right in the middle of it.

With classics like Verdi’s „Libiamo‟, Beethoven’s quartet from „Fidelio‟ or Bizet’s „Perlenfischerduett‟, Julia Regehr and the four vocal soloists present highlights of opera literature. The cast never seems stiff. The guests empty glasses, hide letters, exchange jackets, and dry tears. Even Loriot was impressed: the great humorist raved after an evening at Pasta Opera: „Beautiful voices and a witty, clever presentation.‟

Friedrichsfelde Palace as a backdrop

The Berlin venue makes the experience even more special. Friedrichsfelde Palace is located on the zoo grounds in Lichtenberg; entry is via the gate entrance Am Tierpark 41. The gate opens from 19:00, show starts at 19:30. The historic walls provide an atmosphere that a normal restaurant simply cannot deliver.

The Italian four-course menu is served between acts and is also available as a vegetarian option. Drinks such as Prosecco, white wine, Pilsner, and hot drinks are included. Thus, the experiential gastronomy show Pasta Opera combines culinary delight with opera culture, without having to buy a concert ticket or get a tuxedo out of the closet. Dates are available several times a year, so book early.
