What started as a Berlin delivery service has opened its first physical store in Prenzlauer Berg. Milano Vice stands for delivery pizza with real character: special dough, robust toppings, and a rotating guest chef format that consistently rethinks pizza.
Milano Vice: From Cloud Kitchen to Store on Schönhauser Allee
Milano Vice was founded in 2022 by Rudolf Donauer and Dennis Murselovic with a clear mission: pizza with character, from partner kitchens, optimized for delivery, but without compromising on taste and quality. Initially, it was purely digital. But since the beginning of 2025, they have their first own store. Since then, the pizzas at Schönhauser Allee 44, Eberswalder corner, can also be enjoyed on-site. However, if you expect white tablecloths and candlelight, you’re in the wrong place. Milano Vice is not a classic pizza restaurant, but a modern spot for fast, good food.
Dough, Toppings, and the Concept Behind It
What sets Milano Vice apart from the crowd starts with the base. The dough is based on a mixture of wheat, rice, and soy flour, processed with natural yeast and salt, and mixed with cold water. The approximately 32-centimeter pizzas mature for up to 48 hours. The result is not a hastily mixed delivery dough, but something that you also feel in the toppings: Fior di Latte mozzarella, an excellent tomato sauce, or even truffle cream reflect the high standards. Particularly appealing is also the “Cucina Vice” format, a culinary stage for creative guest chefs who show what pizza can be beyond salami and Margherita. For example, TV chef Felicitas Then developed the “Spicy Peach”, a summery combination of Nduja, mountain peach, buffalo mozzarella, and a self-developed chili oil named “Chilicitas”. In short: If you want to rediscover pizza in Berlin, you can hardly avoid Milano Vice.
