Mama Trattoria

Mama Trattoria's stone oven pizza on Pariser Platz close to the Brandenburg Gate is surprisingly crispy and diverse. Thanks to the open show kitchen, you can watch the pizza chefs at work.

Mama Trattoria in the immediate vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate presents crispy pizza made from organic flour with many healthy ingredients. Next to the Max Liebermann House at Pariser Platz, Mama Trattoria bakes fresh stone oven pizzas. Thanks to an open show kitchen in the large, bright and modern restaurant, you can watch the pizza chefs live at work. From organic flour, Italian tomatoes and classic mozzarella, a classic pizza is created that can be varied in many ways.

Guests can choose whether they want organic wheat flour, spelt flour or whole grain flour. If desired, the pizza can be topped with a lactose-free mozzarella variant. Seasonal specials offer currently changing pizza and pasta dishes. The Italian restaurant provides special pizza variants that you won't find everywhere.

For example, the Pizza Bianca is baked here, a pizza that is thinly topped with a cream cheese and mozzarella instead of tomato sauce. With a hint of chilli and topped with pancetta, an Italian pork bacon and leek, this pizza becomes a hearty treat. Cheese fans should try the spicy pizza with spinach and gorgonzola. If you don't like wheat flour, Pizza Fina is an alternative. This is a yeast-free pizza made from spelt flour, which is topped with fresh salad after baking.

Mama Trattoria also offers sweet pizzas for dessert, in addition to Dolci like Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. The sweet dessert pizzas are either topped with fine caramelized apple slices or with white and dark chocolate, definitely a sweet temptation!
Pizza prices are still moderate concerning the location next to the Brandenburg Gate. In summer, you can enjoy the pizza and other Italian dishes in a beer garden in the inner courtyard.
