Flame Diner: Experiential Gastronomy in Marienfelde

The Flame Diner is located at Zehrensdorfer Straße 9 in Marienfelde, in the south of Tempelhof-Schöneberg, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. This is precisely part of the concept: free parking spaces are available in front of the building, tables are set up outside when the weather is good, and those who come by motorcycle will find space right outside the door. The establishment sees itself as experiential gastronomy and summarizes its program on the menu in four terms: Shakes, Burgers, Rock N Roll, and 1960s Vibes. Restored motorcycles serve as decoration in the dining area and make it clear what this place is all about right from the entrance.

Lava Stone Grill, Billiards, and Rockabilly Parties

The burgers consist of 200 grams of fresh ground beef, come from the lava stone grill, and are served with French fries and coleslaw. Flame’s Famous Hamburger costs 14 Euros, six onion rings 7.50 Euros. In addition, spare ribs, steaks, fajitas, enchiladas, and nachos are on the menu, along with a separate children’s menu and desserts such as American Cheesecake and Brownies. One burger is explicitly only available for those aged 18 and over because it contains rum. After dinner, you can play pool billiards, snooker, or darts, or retreat to the 1950s and 60s-style whisky and cigar lounge. Parties with live bands and DJs are held regularly, including a Rockabilly Night in October.
