The Cassiopeia Sommergarten on Friedrichshain's RAW grounds runs every year a chilled-out summer programme with a mixture of parties and an open air cinema.
The summer garden of the Cassiopeia with its colourfully illuminated bars, tiki torches and hammocks is really the best ambience for a long and warm summer night in Berlin. The vibes here are more relaxed, welcoming and not as “hip”-hyped. Compared with the top-of-the-line open air “in” locations like KaterBlau, the door here is not as hard to make.
And the open air cinema Freiluftkino Insel on the grounds of the summer garden provides for some open air movie nights with the programme of the evening.
