The pioneers of urban gardening bring a piece of nature in old bags and boxes back to the city.

Every Thursday between 3:00 am – 6:00 pm and on Saturdays between 11:00 am – 2:00 pm it’s open season for spontaneous gardening. If you like to just enjoy, you can try their creations with freshly harvested herbs, edible flowers and veggies straight from the Prinzessinengärten (“Princesses’ Gardens”). If you are hungry for knowledge, you can take classes on beekeeping and the various potato varieties.

The Prinzessinengärten even have a beekeeper that produces and sells honey from the gerunds in the heart of Berlin. Especially in the evenings this place is very popular amongst young people to relax and unwind with a cool beer in the dreamy gardens.
