This is no coincidence, but intentional: Hops & Barley is considered a microbrewery and cult pub for all fans of Borussia Mönchengladbach and is the meeting point for Berlin’s ‘Fohlen’ (foals, their nickname). Craft Beer and Matchday: How it works here

Of course, the best thing to drink with football is fresh draught beer. In addition to traditional beer types like Pilsner, Amber, Dark, and Wheat, they also always brew specialty beers such as IPA, Pale Ale, Bockbier, or Stout. Furthermore, there’s naturally cloudy, homemade cider, which matures in the barrel and is also served unfiltered. The kitchen also serves homemade tarte flambée.
