Großbeeren Waterski Cableway: Full Throttle on the Water

Just beyond the city limits, the Großbeeren Waterski Cableway pulls beginners and pros alike across the lake. At around 30 km/h, the wakeboard and waterski facility in Großbeeren pulls experienced riders over the water – and beginners through the water first, of course. That’s part of the fun. The five-mast construction makes the facility particularly beginner-friendly, as the first turns are easier to navigate. Additionally, a central island and special shore design ensure that the artificial lake always boasts calm water, which is a real advantage especially for newcomers. Competent staff are available at the cableway start, and no prior registration is required for public operation – just show up and get in the water.

The MAGIX Wake- & Leisure Park Großbeeren offers much more than just activities for a speed kick. In addition to beginner courses, the offerings include group rentals with supervision, specials for school classes, student holiday courses during the summer break, and company events. The facility is also ideally suited for groups. Furthermore, riding fun is guaranteed even on cooler days, as wetsuits of various thicknesses protect against cold water. After the adrenaline rush, a natural swimming area with a large sunbathing lawn, beach volleyball, slacklines, a playground, and a restaurant with a terrace and beer garden await. Thus, a trip to Brandenburg becomes a relaxed day adventure.
