Skatehalle Berlin in Friedrichshain is the perfect meeting point for true skateboarding pros and brave beginners who can try their hand at introductory workshops.

With approximately 1,200 sq m of skating area, Skatehalle Berlin boasts, among other things, Europe’s largest indoor “Vert Ramp”. This is a special type of halfpipe, suitable for particularly daring tricks due to its vertical steep walls. Even skateboarding legends like Tony Hawk have visited Friedrichshain to ride the ramp.

In addition, there’s an 800 sq m street course and a large bowl, which is a slightly shallower, round ramp, resembling a bowl in shape.

Regular workshops with experienced skateboard instructors are held for all beginners, where first tricks are demonstrated. Students learn the individual movement sequences and practice on mini-ramps. And one thing is for sure: With practice and patience, you’ll soon be tearing up the big ramps with plenty of speed!

The entire 6,000 sq m complex, including a beer garden and the Cassiopeia Club, is spacious.
