Black Light Mini Golf Berlin: Neon Colors Instead of Drizzle

Black Light Mini Golf Berlin is located in a former building of Görlitzer Bahnhof on the edge of Görlitzer Park in Kreuzberg and is considered the first facility of its kind in the city. Under UV light, the murals by the artist group Sinneswandel glow so intensely that they appear almost three-dimensional. Especially in autumn, when it gets dark and wet early outside, it’s a good reason to spend the afternoon indoors.

The 18 holes are spread across five themed rooms. It starts in a neon Berlin with the Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column, and Berlin Bear, then continues through a spaceship cockpit and an underwater world, among others. A round takes about one to one and a half hours. The courses vary in difficulty, so children from about six years old can also play along well.

A round costs 13 Euros for adults, and 11 Euros for concessions. Since tee-off times are limited, a reservation is recommended, especially on rainy weekends. For children’s birthdays, there are packages with pizza for six children or more, and for groups of 20 people or more, special appointments can be arranged. The murals by the artist group Sinneswandel were painted by hand room by room, so it’s worth taking a closer look between two strokes.

The facility is just a few minutes’ walk from Görlitzer Bahnhof U-Bahn station; the entrance is at the corner of Skalitzer and Görlitzer Straße. If you want some fresh air before or after, take a stroll through the autumnal Görlitzer Park. This way, a gray afternoon in Kreuzberg can be pleasantly divided between neon colors and colorful foliage.
