On the second floor of the Hallen Am Borsigturm, there are approximately 700 square meters of VR space, divided into a large arena for up to ten players and a compact one for small groups. Games are played wirelessly, and the game catalog is sorted by age, from six and eight years old. For children's birthdays, the arena belongs exclusively to the group, including a host and lounge.

Children’s Birthday Party in Varpoint Berlin-Tegel’s VR Arena

Varpoint Berlin-Tegel is located on the second floor of the Hallen Am Borsigturm, on the former factory premises of the Borsigwerke in the north of the city. It’s about a ten-minute walk from Berlin-Tegel S-Bahn station, buses stop at the Am Borsigturm stop in front of the building, and the center’s parking garage is right next door. Behind the door awaits approximately 700 square meters of playing space, divided into two arenas. The large one measures 250 square meters and accommodates up to ten players simultaneously, while the smaller one is 80 square meters and designed for groups of two to six children. In both, children move wirelessly through the space and see each other as characters in the same virtual world. The game catalog includes more than 25 titles, sorted by age: Children’s worlds like “Saving the Dragon Babies” or “Space Basketball” are approved from six years old, while the team-vs-team modes in the large arena are from eight years old. A moderator selects the appropriate game for the group and explains the technology beforehand.

Packages, Lounge, and Additional Attractions for School Children in Tegel

For children’s birthdays, Varpoint Berlin-Tegel offers three packages to choose from, differing in duration and features. The smallest runs for two hours, including one hour in the arena, and costs 210.00 Euros for up to six children. The largest lasts three hours with 90 minutes of playtime and includes a tournament with an award ceremony, gift bags for all children, and an extended menu. In all packages, the arena belongs exclusively to the group, plus a decorated lounge area, a PlayStation 5, and two accompanying adults. Guests may bring their own cake, and plates, cups, cutlery, and napkins are provided; ice cream, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased on-site. Parents sit at their own table and can follow the action in the arena on a tablet. Those who haven’t had enough after the game can book one of the additional attractions: a motion platform for two to three people with over 30 modes, or one of the two racing simulators with a real steering wheel and pedals. A deposit of 50.00 Euros is due upon booking.
