Vegang: Vietnamese snack bar without compromises

Vegang has two locations in Berlin: one in Charlottenburg on Kantstraße, known as “Food Street”, and one in Prenzlauer Berg near Mauerpark. The menu features Vietnamese street food, rice dishes, and noodle soups, all exclusively plant-based. So, anyone who believes vegan snack bars are synonymous with dry salads will be proven wrong here.

Instead of meat, vegan breaded chicken or crispy vegan duck are served, alongside seitan and tofu on the menu. The menu also offers creative main courses like “Pretty Chick” and “Soy Cool” as well as side dishes like Udon noodles and rice. And the dishes bear names that inevitably make you smile.

Creative cuisine and vegan tapas

Dishes like “Duckin’ Good” and “Udon Know Me” are particularly popular. Especially the seitan duck is an absolute recommendation among regular guests. If you want to end the evening with drinks, you should also stay: The homemade drinks with Aloe Vera or the Triple Pash are explicitly recommended by visitors.

Vegang also offers a catering service for events and emphasizes sustainability and innovation in food preparation. It is open Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 22:00, Friday and Saturday until 23:00, and Sunday until 22:30. This makes Vegang one of the few vegan snack bars in Berlin that reliably scores even late in the evening.
