Restaurant & Café Drachenhaus

A dinner with Frederick the Great and waiters in baroque costumes in historic walls - that's only available at Restaurant & Café Drachenhaus in Potsdam!
What makes the Drachenhaus such a special experience restaurant?
The historic building with its Asian dragon figures in Sanssouci Park was originally built as a residence for a royal vintner. Today, it houses the Restaurant & Café Drachenhaus and brings back old times.
The calendar regularly features special menu evenings such as a “Prussian Potato Evening“ or the “Round Table with Frederick the Great”. At the Round Table, royal favorite dishes are served according to Frederick the Great’s original kitchen notes, which were discovered in an old Berlin archive. An actor portrays Old Fritz, and the waiters amusingly wear baroque costumes. For a larger group, dinner with Frederick the Great can be arranged by individual appointment.
Also special and romantic is the ”Dinner under the Stars”. Here, not only candlelight creates a crackle in the air, but also the preparation of exclusive dishes on the flambé trolley directly at the table, such as ”Roasted lamb loin with an herb, Parmesan crust on balsamic lentils & buttered La Ratte potatoes”.
