Wilde Matilde Bar

Circus decor, burlesque on weekends, and Berlin cuisine from breakfast until late at night: Wilde Matilde on Rathausstraße turns a dinner in the city center into a small show.
Wilde Matilde Bar: Circus, Burlesque and Berlin Cuisine
Stepping into Rathausstraße 23 immediately transports you to another world. The bar counter is crafted from parts of a historic chain carousel, above which chandeliers hang, with guests swinging through the air between them. Pink Rococo armchairs, colorful circus decor, and a view of the TV Tower create an ambiance found nowhere else in Berlin. The concept of experience gastronomy here goes far beyond decor: on Friday and Saturday, Wilde Matilde transforms into a show evening full of emotions, colors, music, and enjoyment, where live music meets acrobatics, variety show meets burlesque, and circus art.
More than 150 Cocktails and Berlin Cuisine from Breakfast to Evening
A visit is worthwhile even outside of the show evenings. Wilde Matilde is an experience restaurant with a summer terrace and catering from morning to evening, from breakfast to brunch and lunch, right through to coffee, cakes from the in-house patisserie, and dinner. The cocktail menu also offers over 150 different drinks, including many house creations available exclusively at Wilde Matilde. Additionally, cocktail courses and gin tastings are on the program. In the evenings, the summer garden invites you to linger in soft light, with a view of the TV Tower, Berlin Cathedral, and City Palace. Reservations, especially for show evenings, are still advisable, as Wilde Matilde is no longer an insider tip but an integral part of Berlin’s nightlife.
