The way there is incredibly simple: just walk 20 meters into the park from Witzlebenplatz. Then a place opens up that feels like a weekend getaway somewhere else. The terrace is built on stilts into the lake and offers plenty of space. So you literally sit above the water here. Particularly noteworthy: From May to October, the boathouse is open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, and even longer in good weather.

Bootshaus Stella: Food, Drinks, and Relaxation by the Water

The culinary offer is deliberately kept simple. Pizza, pasta, and salads, as well as coffee, cake, and beer, form the core of the offerings at this relaxed meeting point by the lake. In the mornings, there is also breakfast and homemade cake. Orders are placed via a self-service system: first at the counter inside, then you take a seat and wait for your order. This keeps the atmosphere casual. Particularly popular with locals, the boathouse is considered an after-work meeting point where groups spontaneously gather on the shore in good weather. Sitting above Lietzensee on a sunny afternoon with a cool beer is one of the most relaxing moments Charlottenburg has to offer. The prices are a bit higher, but the location more than makes up for it.
