The Ice cream and the cakes are homemade in the ice cream parlor La Piazza. The ice cream comes from original Italian recipe and the cakes are made by the in-house confectioner. Ice cream confectioner Paolo Schiatelli has already received numerous awards for his ice cream. Guests will taste fancy sundaes such as the mango mascarpone cup or the after-eight cup. In addition, all sorts of small Italian specialties such as Mozzarella Caprese, Bruscetta, Vitello Tonato or Toast Italiano are on the menu. On top, coffee specialties and drinks of all kinds are offered.
The interior of the café is designed in Mediterranean style by a Milanese interior designer. White and pastel shades dominate, a large counter is illuminated indirectly and the tables and chairs are kept in elegant white. The walls are decorated with delicate drawings of the Mexikoplatz in earlier times.
Those who visit La Piazza in the morning can help themselves to the large Mediterranean breakfast buffet with cereals, grilled vegetables, fresh salmon and Parma ham. Those who prefer to have breakfast at the table, will also be served with a tasty selection of breakfast spreads, delivered to the square.
